Tyler caught up with Swervedriver singer Adam Franklin during their 2008 reunion tour. Like most of the UK artists Tyler has met, Franklin credits their singles-based culture for his music education. Raised on glam rock staples like T-Rex and Bowie, Franklin reflects on the magic of vinyl and the uplifting power of Hawkwind. Discovered by Creation Record’s Alan McGee, Swervedriver were part of the 90s shoegazing scene.
Today Adam Franklin also tours under his own name, releasing a solo CD entitled Bolts of Melody.
