The Independent Film Festival of Boston (IFFBoston) shows films that people might not get a chance to see anywhere else, films that are both innovative and crowd-pleasing. It offers the chance to meet the filmmakers at post-screening parties, and to ask them questions both after the films and at festival panels.

Long before appearing on VH1 or joining the Kansas City Film Critics Circle, Scene Stealers Eric Melin and J.D. Warnock began their indie Ebert & Roeper routine on tour as members of Ultimate Fakebook. After keeping the road alive with the sound of arguing, the pair began a DIY local-access show in 2004 in their home base of Lawrence, KS. That show has grown into Scene-Stealers, where the boys give us on-camera instant rockfist reviews of all the latest films. Viewers get a fresh, honest reaction from Eric & J.D as soon as the credits have rolled. And they never spoil the endings!

Plus1TV made new friends with SenoReality Pictures as co-sponsors of a charity event at South by Southwest Interactive and Film Festival 2009 in Austin, Texas. SenoReality is a production establishment based in Lawrence, Kansas that has produced numerous films, including two feature DVD releases in 2007–The Empty Acre (Cinema Epoch) and Heartland Horrors – Season 1 (Elite Entertainment). SenoReality is quickly emerging as a producer of quality horror films and they were recently featured at Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles. Enjoy at your own risk!
